Whether you’re looking for a bespoke engagement ring, a wedding band, or a one-off piece, you can be assured of exceptional craftsmanship and personal service from start to finish.

At the heart of DG Bespoke Jewellery is a story of heritage, dedication and passion for fine craftsmanship. Founded by Daniel Greenberg, a second-generation jeweller, our Hatton Garden workshop continues a family tradition that began decades ago with Daniel’s father, Michael Greenberg, a highly respected master goldsmith in London.

Growing up, Daniel spent countless hours in his father’s workshop, fascinated by the artistry of jewellery-making. At the age of 18, after a brief detour as a landscape gardener, Daniel began a rigorous five-year apprenticeship under his father. Learning traditional techniques, working with precious metals, and mastering the fine details of setting gemstones, Daniel built the foundation of expertise that now defines DG Bespoke Jewellery.

Experience You Can Trust

With over 25 years of experience in designing and handcrafting fine jewellery, Daniel has become known as one of the trusted names in Hatton Garden, London’s famous jewellery quarter. Every piece is carefully made by hand, using both time-honoured techniques and modern design innovation.

Clients appreciate not only the skill but also the personal approach Daniel brings. At DG Bespoke Jewellery, you deal directly with the maker – ensuring your piece reflects your story, your style, and your values.

A Family Heritage of Jewellery Making in Hatton Garden

For Daniel, jewellery has always been more than a profession — it’s a family tradition that began long before his own career at the bench. Going to school in Camden, Daniel would often take the tube after school and make his way through the streets of Farringdon to visit his father, Michael’s jewellery workshop in Hatton Garden. Michael was already a well-known and highly respected master goldsmith, and his workshop was alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of traditional jewellery making.

For a young boy, those trips were magical. Daniel remembers the excitement of being allowed to stretch an old two-pence coin in the rolling mills, melt down gold, or simply pick up a hammer and feel the tools of the trade in his hands. These early experiences sparked his fascination with fine jewellery and set the foundations for what would become a lifelong career.

At 18, after a college course in Horticulture and the reality of working as a landscape gardener in the British Winters, Daniel’s path into the family business became clear. His father offered him a two-week trial to test his dedication and discipline. Those two weeks turned into a full five-year apprenticeship under Michael’s strict but expert supervision. During this time, Daniel mastered the traditional skills of goldsmithing, from diamond mounting to polishing and finishing. More importantly, he absorbed his father’s philosophy — that every piece of jewellery should be made with care, integrity, and respect for the craft.

Today, Daniel continues this legacy as a second-generation jeweller, still based in Hatton Garden — London’s historic jewellery quarter. Working in the very same area where he first fell in love with the craft, he now serves a wide and loyal client base, creating bespoke engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewellery commissions. Each piece is handmade using a combination of traditional bench skills and modern techniques, ensuring the highest level of quality and individuality.

Clients often remark on Daniel’s personal approach, attention to detail, and ability to bring unique visions to life. His commitment to craftsmanship and client service is reflected in the many 5-star Google reviews he has received from customers around the UK.

“I take great joy and pride in knowing that I am surrounded by the same tools my father once used,” Daniel says. “Every bespoke piece I create continues a family tradition of fine jewellery making that has been part of Hatton Garden for over 60 years.”
